For this comprehensive project, I researched, wrote, and organized a public information campaign to raise awareness about the role of local government and drive voter participation in local elections in partnership with the San Antonio Report. I spearheaded the writing, editing, and style, including choosing the voice, diction, and tone that best aligned with the initiative’s mission.

This article is one example of my collaboration with Texas Partners Bank to craft the spotlight pieces that accompany and enhance the interviews conducted on their Business Heroes Podcast. Using the interview transcripts, I would extract each entrepreneur’s story, developing a compelling narrative that chronicled their journey and highlighted their contributions to the community.

For my band, I’ve used my writing skills to craft our written voice, and this example is our manifesto. I conceptualized the idea of “knives” being people, a lifestyle, an undeniable piece of who you are if you like our music, which has driven fan engagement and become the cornerstone of the band’s brand identity.

One of hundreds of articles for law firm Carabin Shaw, written to improve website SEO through high-quality, original keyword-driven content. For this extensive project, I hired, trained, and oversaw a team of copywriters and editors to meet high volume demand of client.

I Care Veteran Event- San Antonio Report

Worked with nonprofit I Care SA to craft article on special event launch to celebrate new initiative. Conducted in-person interview with company directors to establish message, tone, and voice of article. The success of this piece led to continued work with the organization.
